It never rains but it pours...

Soooo you know that old cliche, 'it never rains but it pours'? Well, in my case that couldn't be more accurate... The geyser blew yesterday afternoon which caused water to seep through my ceiling thus soaking EVERYTHING, including some recent birthday presents!!! I am suitably devastated... And therefore on Valentines Day 2012, I have no romantic plans or prince charming waiting to sweep me off my tired feet... Alas no, I have a house full of plumbers and carpet cleaners, none of whom seem remotely interested in a 22-year old hysterical female... I have no idea why but there we go. What it does mean is that I get a bedroom makeover... I guess some clouds have a silver lining... or at least a wet-carpet smelling one...

I'm in need of a holiday...

    Oh dear, water floods are never pretty. Last time I dealt with it the sprinklers went off and make everything wet in the condo. I had to move out for 4 months while all the renos were done.
